About The Meeting Place
The Meeting Place on Market offers a unique dining experience with gourmet coffee, desserts, specialty sandwiches and other items.
Located at 220 West Market Street at the corner of West and Market in Downtown Lima, Ohio, The Meeting Place on Market is able to comfortably seat 99 customers. Our Library offers a relaxing spot to read a good book. The Pub Room will stimulate you to a political discussion with a group of friends. Ask a friend to lunch and dine on the Terrace, or bring the whole family for a fun time in our kid-oriented Family Room.

My Velvet Star was actually started in 2010 before Anton Blatnik's formation of Cue? with Nick Swinford and Jordaan Williams in January of 2011. However, he decided to let My Velvet Star to burn to ashes, putting his songwriting energy into the new band. Finding himself with several songs that had a common theme, but perpendicular to the aspirations of Cue?, My Velvet Star was reborn from the ashes like the Phoenix. Listen to the basic, pop forms of If Only In My Dreams to catch influences...

We are excited to welcome 12 String Relief with Doug Adams & Merilee Ziccardi on Friday, February 24th. Free and open to the public.
Doug Adams has been singing folk songs since the 1970's. He's one of many current folk revivalists performing today. Merilee Ziccardi is an accomplished young musician just venturing onto the folk scene. Together, they offer a rich depth of traditional storytelling thru their blended voices and musical talents.
